What is Contexto?
Contexto is a word game. You guess words, and each guess returns a rank. Rank 1 is the secret word. A lower rank means the guess is used in more similar contexts.
How is the word order defined?
This site ranks a fixed English list with cosine similarity. Each word is a 64-dimension vector projected from the MiniLM transformer. The secret word matches itself, so it is rank 1.
How do hints work?
A hint reveals the list word at a fixed rank, starting at 1,200 and then 600, 300, 120, 40, and 12. The hint is a neighbor, not the secret word.
Is this the same puzzle as contexto.me?
No. The public rules are the same: unlimited guesses and a rank after each word. The daily word, the list, and the model on this site are separate from contexto.me.
When does the daily word change?
The puzzle date changes at midnight in New York. A board you already have open keeps that date until you reload.
