Guesses on this device

The daily board and the practice board save guesses in local storage in this browser. That is how a refresh keeps your rows. Clearing site data removes them. There is no account.

What the server receives

Submitting a guess, asking for a hint, giving up, or using the solver sends the word you typed so the server can return a rank. Those words are not written to a database. The server needs the word only for that calculation.

Analytics

The site loads Google Analytics with measurement ID G-DTQJMNLS97. Google may set cookies and receive standard request data such as the page URL and a client identifier. You can block that script with your browser.
