About this puzzle

This is an independent daily word game. It follows the public Contexto rules and uses its own word list, its own secret each day, and its own similarity model.

The model

Guesses are ranked against 5,000 words. The vectors start as mean-pooled embeddings from Xenova/all-MiniLM-L6-v2, which is a MiniLM checkpoint, then a fixed random projection reduces them to 64 dimensions. Cosine similarity produces the rank. The daily secret is chosen from a pool of words that have at least one strong non-inflection neighbor, so the puzzle has a real cluster to find.

The clock

One puzzle is published per civil date in New York (America/New_York). Puzzle 1 is 1 January 2024. Reloading after midnight New York time loads the next word. Guesses stay in this browser so a refresh does not clear the board.

This site is not operated by, or endorsed by, the people who publish contexto.me. Their how-to-play text is quoted on the how to play page because that is the rule set players already know. Their daily word is a different word.
